Programs are designed to instruct operators in the safe and proper use of their equipment. Instruction includes classroom training, hands-on operation and all training materials. All documentation, including certificate of completion and wallet card are provided for student who successfully complete the course.

“Train The Trainer” Programs

  • Rough Terrain Forklift Telehandlers: Straight Mast & Shooting Boom Type

Programs are designed for safety directors, training managers, risk management personnel or a company-designated person responsible for operator safety training. The course includes classroom instruction covering a wide range of required topics and safety-related information, as well as hands-on operation of the equipment. Participants receive a Trainer’s manual, handouts, resource information for applicable industry standards and OSHA regulations. Trainers receive a CD-ROM with the complete PowerPoint training program and printable files. Certificates of completion and wallet cards are provided for successful trainees.

Refresher Training Courses
Refresher training is available for operators who have been previously trained and need to renew their wallet cards. Classroom portion reviews basic safety fundamentals and practical operation completes the renewal process. New wallet cards are provided upon successful completion.

Programs include classroom and hands-on instruction. Attendees receive the complete PowerPoint presentation on a CD. Program is narrated and self-running – no memorizing or reading from notes. CD also includes printable files for trainer’s manual, notes pages, handouts wallet cards and certificates.

Refresher Training

Refresher training reviews safety rules for safe and proper operation of equipment. New wallet cards are provided for operators and the employer receives all the necessary documentation to keep training records up to date and in compliance with federal regulations and standards.

  1. Can an individual register for training without being employed?

    No, an individual must be sent directly from the company with whom they are currently employed.

  2. What kind of equipment do you offer training on?

    Powered Industrial Forklifts: Sit-Down, Stand-Up, Pallet Jacks, Walkie Stackers, Rough Terrain Straight Mast Forklift

    Rough Terrain Forklift: Telehandlers

    Mobile Elevated Work Platforms: Scissor Lifts, Boom Lifts, Personnel Lifts.

  3. Do you offer training for non-English speaking customers?

    Our FORKLIFT and Rough Terrain Forklift training program and Mobile Elevated Work Platforms program is only offered in English at this time.

  5. How long is the class?

    Depending on the class size, each class will take 4-5 hours to complete.

  6. What is the maximum number of attendees per class?

    There is a 12 person per class maximum for safety training at our facilities.
    Safety training on-site at your facility have unlimited number of attendees.

  7. What do I need to wear or bring to class?

    Wear comfortable clothing that is free of anything that may catch on the equipment
    Wear closed-toe shoes. Please bring a safety harness and tether to class.

  8. How long does it take to receive the certificate packet?

    Please allow 2-4 days after taking the class to receive your certificate packet.

  9. Will my certification card be valid at another company?

    No, certificates and wallet cards are non-transferable. Training documents stay with the company who requested your training.

  10. What is the Forklift Operator Re-Certification course?

    The Forklift Operator Re-Certification course is for experienced operators who are interested in renewing their certification. National Lift of Arkansas requires operators to renew their wallet cards every three years.
    Supervisors may send their employees in for a Re-certification course sooner if any of the following occur:

    Employers observe workers who are operating a lift improperly.
    An accident occurs during equipment us.e
    Workplace hazards involving equipment are discovered.
    A different type of lift is being used.

    Upon successful completion of both the classroom and hand-on operation of equipment, students will receive a renewed certificate and wallet card.

  11. How long is the Forklift “train the trainer” certification good for?

    Trainer status never expires. However, operator status must be renewed once every three (3) years.

  12. I misplaced my Trainer’s Manual. Can I purchase replacement training materials?
